Vakilsaheeba is the Forum's free legal aid service, staffed by women advocates. Maintenance, custody, divorce, property and succession, domestic violence protection orders, wages unpaid, a notice you've received, a hearing coming up — you tell us what it is, and we get you to the right person.

How fast

A first consultation is booked within 72 hours — the same day if a hearing or a statutory deadline falls within the next seven days.

Harassment at work

If your workplace has no Internal Committee, or won't act on your complaint, our Anti-Trafficking & POSH desk takes it to the Local Committee for you.

Why you won't see individual advocates promoted here: under the Advocates Act, a lawyer may not solicit work, and how legal services are advertised is tightly constrained. So this page describes the Forum's legal aid service, not any one advocate's practice — no advocate's photograph, credentials or contact details are published as a promotional device. Every approach routes through the Forum's legal desk, which is also simply safer: it means your matter is never resting on one person's availability.
